“Telling a Story with You” begins with participating artist Ya-Hui Wang’s work A Cloud That Is Everywhere as the starting point for imagination. Through an arched entrance and window-like view, the setting resembles the opening scene of a fairy tale, revealing a series of immersive spaces inspired by fairy tale narratives.

This educational project uses “story/narrative” as its foundation and unfolds in two phases of exhibition. Visitors are free to choose their own starting point. Through processes of experience, role-playing, and choice, the project incorporates various artistic forms—including painting, installation, video, and theater—to allow participants to embed and express their personal experiences. It calls upon the imagination surrounding objects, games, and costume play, inviting viewers to shift perspectives and explore diverse possibilities. The goal is to inspire new ways of thinking through engagement with a wide range of works, offering a multiplicity of “interpretations.”

The first phase, “The Cloud Is Gone,” features six artist groups who draw from their own life experiences to construct personal narratives—organizing their motivations, memories, goals, expectations, and reflections. Through the telling of believable and meaningful stories, they come to better understand themselves and the world around them, weaving images of the world and of one another through narrative.
