potato heads is a service tailored for introverted, shy, and sensitive international students entering new environments. We provide practical tools and personalized support, including self-paced guides, curated podcasts, and event suggestions, to help users confidently navigate social situations and build meaningful connections. Guiding those who want or need to socialize but feel unsure or nervous about where to begin.

For this typeface design, I focused on the idea of “entering new environment”. Entering new environment for introverted, shy and sensitive individual means entering somewhere unfamiliar, somewhere different. It also means that they are sharing the same environment but often with very different social approaches.

My approach is to combine serif and sans-serif typefaces, symbolizing two distinct personalities (introverts and extroverts) coming together in the same environment. While they may have fundamentally different approaches to social interaction, they coexist and must find ways to connect.
