The Taiwan Railways Annual Report 2022 is the final digital publication produced before the Railway Bureau transitions into a corporatized entity. Unlike previous official publications, this year’s theme focuses on “Unity and Courage in Reform.” Facing the imminent organizational transformation, it aims to convey a new spirit of initiative and progress.

The cover design features candid side-shot photographs of frontline railway workers at work, sparks flying in the background. The scattered sparks are transformed into a constellation-like pattern, symbolizing the humble yet extraordinary spirit of the ground-level engineers. They represent the foundation of the Railway Bureau, small but indispensable.
